The Desert Chorale once again welcomes VOASIS, its ensemble of eight pop and jazz singers performing the latest in vocal a cappella in six performances of “Endings + Beginnings: Chilling with VOASIS” to ring in the New Year beginning December 27 and ending with a special New Year’s Eve performance on the 31st. My friend Jennifer Levine and I are training to participate in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, especially my dear friend, Jennifer Levine.
